The whole school celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the end of the First World War. Every child in the school created a poppy and all the poppies were then made into a memorial which can be seen in the front office.
Each year group created a piece of artwork. This was then turned into three wonderful displays in the West Wing Hall. Take a look below:
This term, Year 6 have also been learning all about World War One. They visited an art installation called The Shrouds of Somme which commemorated all the lives lost during the deadly Battle of Somme. The children even got to meet the artist and ask him a few questions!
