As part of the government’s attempt at containing the spread of Coronavirus, Colegrave Primary School will be closed until further notice. We will be communicating with parents and carers via Parentmail and the school website; please regularly check these platforms for updates as well as re-opening dates and advice.
Learning at home:
Children are expected to complete English, maths and topic work daily. If your child is in Year R, 1 or 2 they will be provided with a pack of work. If your child is in Oak class, Year 3, 4, 5 or 6 then they will receive work via Google classroom. Please ensure your child is completing work daily and is reading regularly.
As well as the work provided by the school, children and parents can use the following websites to supplement their learning:
SATs Boot Camp (Year 6)
Busy Things (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2)
As we are in unprecedented times and we are using more and more online resources, Colegrave would like to highlight staying safe online. We would like to remind parents and pupils to:
Discuss what technology they are using on a regular basis
Know the age limits of apps and the use of the apps
Online learning – Making sure it is safe and purposeful
Be mindful of online contacts and connections
Choose your tools carefully
Keep personal information private
Think before you share
Scams – Know what is official and when something is trying take advantage of you.
The link below goes into more detail about these areas.
Below are more sites that will be useful to support being safe online.
