Autumn 1 in Year 1

Year One went on an exciting visit to the ‘Discover centre’. Whilst they were there they went to explore the immersive play area. They had a slide, a spaceship and lots of books. When they had finished playing and exploring they worked with a story maker to build their own story based on their play. When the children got back to school, they retold their story, ensuring they remembered the main characters, the beginning, the problem and then how they solved the problem at the end. What fantastic stories the Year One children created!
