In the Autumn term, Year 4 explored the Ancient Greeks. 

We started by exploring their alphabet and created some name plaques of our own - can you try to decode the names?

We then continued to explore what life was like in Ancient Greece through looking at timelines and by using our computing skills to extract information from secondary sources.

In topic, Year 4 have been exploring how sound works. 

Unfortunately we began our lesson during our bubble closure, but that didn't stop us as we continued to carry out experiments with materials we found around the house!

We came back to school and explored how sound travels through different states of matter - which was really cool - Did you know that cup phones really work? We also got to create our very own guitars to explore amplitude and pitch.
